Look no further…Ken’s Korny Corn Maze is the longest running corn maze in North Carolina.  Ken’s Corn Maze has over 6 acres of corn maze with 2 1/2 miles of paths to get completely lost in. There is also many other activities such as the children’s maze – just for the little beginners, rope maze – 8,000 sq. ft. of winding ropes, live animals area, hay barn and much much more.  And if you’re looking for thrills and chills, check out the haunted corn maze which runs October 24th, 25th, 30th, 31th and November 1st.

The Great Pumpkin Contest will be held Thursday, October 9th at the Raleigh Farmers Market. Check their website for more times and information.

4. Food Truck Rodeo of 2014 – October

The last Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo will be held Sunday, October 12th from 1pm – 6pm on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. This is a free event. For more information visit their website.

Garner’s 1st Annual Food Truck Rodeo will be held on Sunday, October 26th from 12pm – 4pm. The event will be held on West Main in downtown Garner. There will be approximately a dozen trucks including beer vendors and some entertainment. Be on the look out for more information.

5. Oktoberfest Run Green 8K, October 18, 2014

Great fun by all! An afternoon of running and eco-friendly fun in downtown Raleigh. Each registered runner gets a free beer after the run, a chance to win the $3000 travel voucher, and the after party in Moore Square will be chock full of good music and great times! Back by popular demand, we will also have our braut eating, beer stein holding, and limbo contests.  Male and female winners of each will receive a glass beer boot!
